We collect personal information through form submission software that is linked to Formstack and Sync.com. Customers fill out the secure survey with sensitive information that allows us to file a BOI report for their business.

Information that is collected directly from you is information that you provide when you complete a form online, upload a document, use a chat feature, or speak to us on the phone. For instance, if you are a shareholder in a business that is formed through Joseph & Bryant LLC, we may be given information about you by that business to complete the formation. How Long We Retain Your Personal Information
Joseph & Bryant LLC retains your personal information for at least as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected the data, to provide you with services and products, to comply with our data retention obligations, and to successfully run our business. An example of how long we retain your personal information would be us retaining your personal information collected from the BOI Report form for as long as you are paying for the “BOI reporting and Compliance Package” subscription. Your personal information will be stored in an encrypted cloud database powered by sync.com. This information will remain stored, unless you reach out to a Joseph & Bryant representative.

STORAGE AND PROTECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION:

A. Location. Your Personal Information may be processed and stored outside of your jurisdiction where laws regarding processing of Personal Information may be less stringent than the laws in your country or state. Your Personal Information will not, however, be used or disclosed for purposes for which you have not given consent, or which are not permitted under applicable law.

B. Protection. We have put in place safeguards to provide adequate protection for the storage and transfer of personal information, including the presence of an SSL certificate and other encryption protocol in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

C. Storage of SSN and Information Necessary for Certain Filings. In addition to the normal safeguards enacted for the storage and protection of your personal information, additional encryption is taken for the storage of your social security number. The collection of your social security number and other information will only be requested if necessary for the filing contracted for and shall only be retained in Sync.com & Formstack until the transaction in question is completed. After the completion of the transaction, we delete this information from our system. The “Transaction” is subscribing to the annual “BOI reporting and compliance package” the transaction is complete once you explicitly notify us to terminate your service, only then is the subscription is cancelled.

D. Storage of Credit Card Information. When your credit or debit card account information is being transmitted through our Website, it will be protected by security protocols. Joseph & Bryant does not itself store your credit card or debit card account information, and we do not have direct control over or responsibility for your credit or debit card account information. We may continue to have access to your credit card information through third-party services, including Stripe, for easy access in the event you decide to order more services from Joseph & Bryant. We do not otherwise store your credit card information ourselves.

E. Disclaimer of Guaranty of Security. We believe we have taken reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information. No one can fully guarantee or fully eliminate all risks associated with Personal Information, and we make no such guarantees.

F. Retention. Unless there is something in this Policy to the contrary, we may retain your personal information for as long as your subscription is active and for a period of time thereafter to allow you to reactivate your subscription without loss of information. We may also retain your personal information as necessary to:
a. Maintain logs and business records for analysis, security, and/or audit purposes;
b. Comply with record retention requirements under the law;
c. Deal with any complaints regarding the Website; and
d. Comply with our legal obligations, protect or defend our rights, resolve disputes and enforce our contracts.
