Joseph & Bryant LLC potentially collects the following categories of personal information: 

Identifiers: Examples of the types of identifiers that Joseph & Bryant LLC may collect include real names, nicknames, signatures, postal addresses, online identifiers, Internet Protocol addresses, email addresses, and account numbers. 

Sensitive Information: Examples of the types of sensitive information that Joseph & Bryant LLC may collect includes social security, tax ID Number, driver’s license, state identification card, and passport numbers, and usernames and passwords for accounts connected to reportmyboi.com. 

Characteristics protected under some laws: Examples of the types of characteristics that Joseph & Bryant LLC may collect include age, national origin, citizenship, marital status, medical information, sex, and veteran or military status.  Joseph & Bryant LLC does not use this type of information to analyze your health, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation. 

Commercial information: Examples of the types of commercial information that Joseph & Bryant LLC may collect includes records of business and other property owned, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered from Joseph & Bryant LLC or our partners, and other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies. 

Internet information: Examples of the types of internet activity information that Joseph & Bryant LLC may collect includes browsing history, search history, information about the device used to access our website or applications, and information regarding your interaction with websites, applications, or advertisements.  We may also collect information from visitors to our website, such as browser settings, operating systems, referring/exit pages, and clickstream data.  When we send you an email, Joseph & Bryant LLC may also collect information, including about how you interact with that email. 

Geolocation information: Joseph & Bryant LLC may collect information about where a consumer resides or is otherwise located. 

Audio and visual information: Joseph & Bryant LLC may make audio recordings of telephone calls.  We may make visual recordings if you agree that we may videotape or photograph you.  We may also collect visual images of you in connection with legal requirements, security purposes, or when required for providing certain products. 

Professional and employment-related information: Examples of the types of professional and employment-related information Joseph & Bryant LLC may collect includes information about professional status and affiliations, employment history, salary, and employment status.

Where We Collect Personal Information:  

We collect personal information through form submission software that is linked to Formstack and Sync.com. Customers fill out the secure survey with sensitive information that allows us to file a BOI report for their business.

Customers: Much of the personal information that Joseph & Bryant LLC collects comes directly or indirectly from our customers and prospective customers.  Information that is collected directly from you is information that you provide when you complete a form online, upload a document, use a chat feature, or speak to us on the phone.  We may also collect information indirectly about you when you interact with our website, using cookies and other tracking technologies.

Related Parties: We may collect information about you from someone you know.  For instance, if you are a shareholder in a business that is formed through Joseph & Bryant LLC, we may be given information about you by that business to complete the formation.  We may also receive information about you from customers using our products to send communications to you, such as our e-signature product.

Service Providers: We may collect information about you from our Service Providers or other companies that we work with to deliver products to you.  As used in this Privacy Policy, Service Providers means entities that Joseph & Bryant LLC has contracted with to provide us with services to help fulfill our business needs. • If you purchase a Joseph & Bryant LLC product that is bundled with a product offered by one of our business partners, we will share information about you with that business partner.

Government Entities: Joseph & Bryant LLC may share information about customers with government entities to fulfill the products purchased by our customers.  Certain personal information becomes a public record when documents are filed with the federal or a state government, or with a court.  For example, a corporation's name, business address, and registered agent name becomes public information when its articles of incorporation are filed.  A Secretary of State may publish this information to its website or provide this information to third parties.  The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office publishes the names and addresses of trademark registrants.  This Privacy Policy does not cover these or similar third-party actions.

• We may share information publicly when it is necessary to fulfill a product that has been purchased by a customer.  For example, in some states, fictitious business names, including the name and address of the business owner, must be published in a newspaper.

• When you post content in any forum or comment area on our website, these posts may be publicly available.  You should use caution when deciding whether to disclose your personal information in public areas of our website.

Parties Related to Joseph & Bryant LLC : Joseph & Bryant LLC may disclose personal information with businesses controlling, controlled by, or under common control with Joseph & Bryant LLC.  If Joseph & Bryant LLC is merged, acquired, or sold, or if some or all of our assets or equity are transferred, we may disclose or transfer consumer data in connection with the associated transactions.

How Long We Retain Your Personal Information 

Joseph & Bryant LLC retains your personal information for at least as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected the data, to provide you with services and products, to comply with our data retention obligations, and to successfully run our business. An example of how long we retain your personal information would be us retaining your personal information collected from the BOI Report form for as long as you are paying for the “BOI reporting and Compliance Package” subscription. Your personal information will be stored in an encrypted cloud database powered by sync.com. This information will remain stored, unless you reach out to a Joseph & Bryant representative.

STORAGE AND PROTECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION:

A. Location. Your Personal Information may be processed and stored outside of your jurisdiction where laws regarding processing of Personal Information may be less stringent than the laws in your country or state. Your Personal Information will not, however, be used or disclosed for purposes for which you have not given consent, or which are not permitted under applicable law.

B. Protection. We have put in place safeguards to provide adequate protection for the storage and transfer of personal information, including the presence of an SSL certificate and other encryption protocol in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

C. Storage of SSN and Information Necessary for Certain Filings. In addition to the normal safeguards enacted for the storage and protection of your personal information, additional encryption is taken for the storage of your social security number. The collection of your social security number and other information will only be requested if necessary for the filing contracted for and shall only be retained in Sync.com & Formstack until the transaction in question is completed. After the completion of the transaction, we delete this information from our system. The “Transaction” is subscribing to the annual “BOI reporting and compliance package” the transaction is complete once you explicitly notify us to terminate your service, only then is the subscription is cancelled.

D. Storage of Credit Card Information. When your credit or debit card account information is being transmitted through our Website, it will be protected by security protocols. Joseph & Bryant does not itself store your credit card or debit card account information, and we do not have direct control over or responsibility for your credit or debit card account information. We may continue to have access to your credit card information through third-party services, including Stripe, for easy access in the event you decide to order more services from Joseph & Bryant. We do not otherwise store your credit card information ourselves.

E. Disclaimer of Guaranty of Security. We believe we have taken reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information. No one can fully guarantee or fully eliminate all risks associated with Personal Information, and we make no such guarantees.

F. Retention. Unless there is something in this Policy to the contrary, we may retain your personal information for as long as your subscription is active and for a period of time thereafter to allow you to reactivate your subscription without loss of information. We may also retain your personal information as necessary to: 

a. Maintain logs and business records for analysis, security, and/or audit purposes; 

b. Comply with record retention requirements under the law; 

c. Deal with any complaints regarding the Website; and 

d. Comply with our legal obligations, protect or defend our rights, resolve disputes and enforce our contracts.
